Roller Skating N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING
Start After Two Days’ Delay
HASTINGS, January 14. Roller-skating events at the New Zealand championship meeting in Hastings got under way today after two days’ delay because of rain. The organisers are endeavouring, by holding extra sessions, to catch up witn original arrangements. There are 122 competitors, including many from centres outside Hawke’s Bay. The fastest times ever recorded on the Hastings rink were returned in the speed events before a capacity crowd.
