Sir,—O, the artistic tastes of the Christchurch public! In entertainment, they demand nothing but the worst, and Mr Devlin supplies it As an artist Mr Devlin should go a long way—the further the better. I fear that Mr Devlin’s only reason for composing a Christchurch Rock, will be to fatten his own roll.—Yours, etc, January 14, 1959.
