The Rev. P. Stead, minister at the Edgeware Road Methodist Church for the last six years, will take up an appointment at St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Palmerston North, during February. Mr Stead, who received his training at the Trinity Theological College in Auckland, was previously with the Lincoln Methodist Church, and has been convener of thq Spiritual Healing Committee. The Governor-General of Australia (Sir William Slim) will arrive in Christchurch by air on Thursday in a Royal Australian Air Force'Convair transport aircraft. He will leave for Australia on Friday.
