(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) PORTLAND (Oregon), Dec. 9. The Alridge family may be together for Christmas for the first time in years, all because Richard Gillett talked a friend into introducing him to Dorothy Manewal. Gillett, aged 22, of Oregon City, and Dorothy, aged 16, of nearby Gladstone, went out Saturday night. Dorothy confided that her real name was Sara Esther Aldridge. Dick, astonished, said his real name was Michael Charles Aldridge. It turned out they were brother and sister, adopted by separate families when their mother was killed in an accident 10 years ago. Yesterday, their sister, Mrs Gordon. Guild, of Portland, said she had asked them a 1 their father. Joseph Arthur Aldridge, to her house for Christmas dinner. i Dorothy and pick visited her on Saturday night after they discoverer their relationship, and later Dick took Dorothy to see her father, now aged 78, who is living alone in a Portland flat.
