Permit Transfer Objected To
(New Zealand Press Association) ROTORUA, December 10. The Rotorua Trotting Club this morning telegraphed the New Zealand Trotting Conference registering a strong objection against the action of the Taranaki Trotting Club in endeavouring to transfer its permit to the Stratford Trotting Club. The Rotorua club considers that if Taranaki does not want its permit it should be returned to conference and allocated by the Minister of Internal Affairs to the nontotalisator club in the North Island most worthy of consideration. There are four non-totali-sator clubs in the North Island—Morrinsville, Kumeu, Rotorua, and Stratford.
