SPEECH THERAPY CHILDREN

Party Held By Students

The pantomime “Red Riding Hood” was performed at a children’s party held by the North Canterbury Speech Therapy Association on Saturday, by speech therapy students who also wrote the script. The pantomime was produced by Miss E. Low, of Dunedin. ■

About 300 children, including pupils of the Cerebral Palsy School, and 150 adults attended and were welcomed by the president (Mrs A J. Hogan).

The programme Included a festive tea, a visit from Father Christmas, who gave each child a balloon and sweets, and games. An illuminated tree was a feature of the decorations.

A stall selling articles suitable for Christmas gifts made a profit of £5O.
