REBEL ACTION IN HAVANA
Police Killed In Reprisals HAVANA, November 18. Rebel gunmen shot and killed four policemen and wounded eight others last night in what was thought to be a reprisal for the killing of an insurgent leader Eleven policemen were shot down on the steps of a suburban police station when two black sedan cars rushed past, with ! bullets flying from automatic weapons. A twelfth policeman was wounded by the fleeing rebels a few blocks away. Police said the attack was 'apparently carried out to avenge i the killing by police of Angel • Amejeira. a rebel leader, and ■ three other rebels in a gun battle . in the suburb of Vibora last Tucs- •' day. • * Havana police started a roundup of rebel suspects. Checkpoints J were set up at strategic street •'corners in the capital.
