■ Men’s Decision To i Return To Work (Neu- Zealand Press Association) ; AUCKLAND. November 18 ? Employees at the Westfield ’ freezing works have decided by ‘ secret ballot to return to work j About 1000 men refused to start I work yesterday morning after a 1 dispute with the management “over the rc-cmployment of one ’ man. ■ The general manager' of the company <Mr F. G. Knight) said .there wore no “tags” attached to * the men's decision to resume j work. A very substantial major- ’ ity were in favour of resuming. j Mr Knight added that the man- ’ agement’s offer to re-engage the 1 man concerned in the dispute on ’ work other than in the freezing chamber still stood.
