Promotions In Post Office
Six promotions of senior postal staff in Canterbury have been announced from the Chief Post Office, Christchurch. Mr J. T. Boyle, who was postmaster at Addington, will be postmaster at Paraparaumu. Mr C. R. Williams is the new postmaster at St. Albans. He previously held the same position at Aramoho. Mr L. F. Spencer, postmaster, Clyde, has been promoted to postmaster, Hororata. Mr J. H. Bryan, postmaster, Clevedon, will be postmaster, Cheviot. Mr P. J. Boyd. supervisor, telegraph branch, Nelson, is promoted to a similar position at Christchurch. Mr J. W. Germain, postmaster. Oturehua, has been transferred to a similar position at Dunsandel. He was previously stationed at Ashburton for several years. Mr R. Moulder, postmaster, Winton, has been transferred to a similar position at Balclutha. Before taking up duty at Winton, he was postmaster, Darfleld.
