Australia Favoured In Test Series
(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, September 26. Bert Sutcliffe, the New Zealand left-hand batsman, believes England could be’ hard pressed to win the test series in Australia this summer
In Dunedin today he said that he could not see either Lock or Laker, England’s spinners, being anywhere near the dominant bowlers they are on English wickets. He forecast that the test series for “the ashes” could be dreary, with batsmen of both teams being in command.
