BURNSIDE

(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, Sept. 24. The yarding of fat cattie offered today at Bumside was 368. The yarding was very similar to that of last week, wnere young unfinished cattle made up a large proportion of the tally. Top quality once again were keenly sought, and made values almost on a par with last week’s rates. With today’s yarding of approximately 2950 fat sheep following on the last two weeks’ large yardings of 2884 and 3227, the total was more than butchers could absorb. Woolly ewes and wethers were selling on a par at the beginning but becoming unsaleable at the finish. Shorn ewes could be quoted 2s to 4s back on last week’s rates.'
