Award For Referee
Mr R. W. Cullen has won the referees’ stop-watch for the most improved Canterbury soccer referee for 1958. Mr Cullen was a New Zealand badge-holder before this season, and his ■ win spoke highly of his ability. The judges thought that the runners-up, Messrs P. Stanicich and R. Wrighton, showed much promise and w/*re developing quickly into first-class referees.
