TOURISTS FOR ANTARCTIC
Support From Society Support for Rear - Admiral George J. Dufek’s suggestion that New Zealand send a tourist ship to McMurdo Sound next February was given by the president of the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Antarctic Society iMr H. F. Griffiths) last evening. Speaking at a meeting of the branch, Mr Griffiths said the branch should give support to the Admiral’s suggestion. “Once you have been there you will want to go back again,” he said.
