Assassination Bid Fails
BEIRUT, September 6. Another unsuccessful attempt on the life of the Lebanese Prime Minister (Mr Sami Solh) was made tonight. Eight policemen were Injured when two . jeeps ran over a land mine a few minutes before the Prime Minister’s car and a jeep escort were due to pass on the way to a mountain resort On July 28 a similar attempt failed, and five persons were killed.
