Parliament’s Business

Sir,—Having a very keen interest in Parliamentary affairs and having listened with interest to most of the present session I regret Mr Nash has not seen fit to grant us extended broadcasting hours, whereas we can have a commentary on the cricket from England. Surely as taxpayers we have every right to hear how legislation is being pushed along in order that Mr Nash may attend at the United Nations. When Mr Nash was on the Opposition benches he was always advocating extended hours. He has now the power, so why does he not act upon it? —Yours, etc., LISTEN AND LEARN. August 28, 1958.
