TOP: Grimly intent, R. Cochrane, a Canterbury forward (middle), moves in to tackle the Waikato first five-eighths, R. A. Dallas, while on the extreme right, J. M. Le Lievre is moving, across to give support. BOTTOM: The Canterbury first five-eighths, V. C. Sykes, is well held by A. Hayes (No. 8), while E. A. R. Pickering runs in to complete the tackle.
