Two And Three Mile Records

Albert Thomas (Australia) tonight became the world record holder for twr| and three miles when he clipped I.4sec off the Hungarian Sandor Iharos's world record two miles time running on Dublin’s fast Santry track. Thomas won the race by 25 yards from Herb Elliott in Bmin 32sec. Elliott’s time was Bmin 37.65ec. Thomas set his three-mile record of 13min lO.Ssec on the same track on July 9.
