On his display against Marist on Saturday, the Old Boys flanker, N. S. Roberts, must still be a candidate for the Canterbury Rugby team. He was extremely aggressive in every phase of play, and his two tries took a startled defence completely by surprise. He is deceptive in build and is much heavier than he appears. His first try against Marist was scored after he had carried two defenders at least five yards over the line.
