VOR the man who regularly A shoots game at the week-ends in all types of country, the trained gun dog is invaluable; the dog will work under control, hunt cover thoroughly, and flush game for the shooter. A day in the country with a good gun dog is required before the animal’s worth can be fully appreciated. To the shooter, seeing his dog working from morning to evening with its nose to the ground, hunting is the most satisfying sport—some enthusiasts venture to
