WE KITEROA REST HOME
Postponement Of Closing Decision on the proposal to close Te Kiteroa Rest Home at Waimate has been postponed for 12 months, according to advice received by the Waimate Provincial executive of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers. An amendment proposed at the Dominion conference this week by Mesdames L. W. Sargent, and M. Dori (Waimate) was successful in defeating a proposal put forward to close the home because of high costs. The amendment received unanimous support, according to information received in Waimate.
