N.Z. Patrol Action.— New Zealand troops were in action again in north Malaya on Tuesday. A patrol of the Ist Battalion, New Zealand Regiment, operating in the Sungel Siput district of Perak State, opened fire on four armed, uniformed terrorists. An official report said the terrorists had fled, but one of them was believed to be wounded.—Singapore, July 3.
