Sir, —“Weird and Wonderful,” is shocked at the paradox of £l9 million given away and then a £l5 million loan. I can cite a greater paradox, that of the National Party Government borrowing millions of pounds and instituting a credit-squeeze in times of New Zealand’s greatest prosperity and highest prices for exports.—Yours, etc., OUTLOOK.
