Entries Close To Record At Ashburton Bird Show

Although entries showed a decrease of about 100 on last year’s record of 1330, with nearly 1200 entries this year the annual winter show of the Ashburton Fanciers’ Society was one of the most successful held by the society. The show, held on Friday and Saturday in the Ashburton Centennial Sports Hall, attracted entries from Southland to North Canterbury, in more than 750 classes.
