Three Motor-Cars Crushed
(New Zealana Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 2X Three motor-cars were crushed to a hold of the 8677-ton Norwegian vessel, Milora, when she took an eight-day battering in gales and huge seas in the Pacific on the run from Liverpool to Auckland. The lashings of eight-ton railway waggon frames parted and the frames crushed the cars until they looked like flattened jam tins. Detonators were stacked in the same hold, but these were well protected.
