ORGANISATION OF T.E.A.L.
Administration Changes
Tasman Empire Airways has established a project section to plan the change from pistonengined to propeller turbine aircraft.
The section will be headed by Captain J. R. McGrane as acting project manager, with Mr A. C. Williams as acting project engineer. Captain McGrane relinquishes the post of deputy operations manager (flying) and Mr Williams relinquishes the post of chief maintenance engineer.
Captain D. W. G. Keesing has been appointed acting deputy operations manager (flying) and Mr L. G. Brister has been appointed acting chief maintenance engineer. Vacancies caused by these appointments have already been filled by present company employees. At the same time T.E.A.L. has followed the practice of overseas airlines of separating its sales and traffic division under the control of a commercial manager. Mr H. M. Denton has been appointed commercial manager, Mr N. R. Searle sales manager and Mr M. R. Davis traffic manager.
