Death Of Hayes’s Father
(New Zeaiana Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 23.
Mr John Henry Hayes, father of the N£w Zealand fast bowler, J. A. Hayes, who is in the team touring England, died in Auckland today, aged 74. This is the second bereavement for the team. Recently the father of the opening batsman J W. D’Arcy, died in Christchurch.
