25th Anniversary Of Dedication
Special services were held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Sunday to mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of the dedication of the church.
At the morning service the guest speakers were Pastor E. Blaess, of Wellington, the vicepresident of the Lutheran Church of New Zealand and Pastor R. Reinfelds. of the Christchurch Latvian Lutheran Church. The service was conducted by the present minister of the church, the Rev. G. A. Doecke. A concert of sacred music was given by the choir of the church on Sunday evening and a film was screened. All the- services were well-attended. A jubilee social dinner held in Trinity Congregational Church Hall on Saturday evening was well attended by both present and former members of the church.
