SOUTHLAND OLD BOYS
N ewly-F ormed Branch About 50 members of a newlyformed Christchurch branch of the Southland Boys’ High School Old Boys’ Association attended the first annual meeting and dinner at Elizabeth House at the weekend. The branch was formed several months ago and has more than 70 members. The toast of ‘‘The School” was proposed by Judge Archer and was replied to by Mr J. L. Cameron, ah old boy former master and former senior inspector of post-primary schools in the South Island.
The following officers were elected:—President, Mr J. A. Cameron: vice-presidents, Messrs W. R. Bell and C. K. Ferguson; secretary-treasurer, Mr A. B. Ott; committee, Messrs M. Rodgers. R F. J. Woodward, A. J. Mathias. H. W. Thomson, J. R. Cameron, A. M. Menzies, J M. Ott; honorary Tuditor, Mr I. H. D. Ferguson.
