U.S. Appeal For Soldiers’ Release
I Rec. 9 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 20.
The United States asked Russia i tonight to take immediate action : toward having nine American soldiers treed by East Germany. The East German regime has been holding the nine since their helicopter went down there on June 7.
Previous United States efforts to obtain the release ot the. men have been unsuccessful. i
