Woman Dies From Injuries
(New Zealana Press Association) HASTINGS, June 22.
A 51-year-old woman, who suffered head injuries in a levelcrossing accident on Wednesday, died in the Hastings Memorial Hospital on Saturday. She was:
Mrs Gladys Bird, of Kereru. Mrs Bird, who was learning to drive a car, stalled on the railway crossing in Murdoch road. The car was struck by the Napier-Wellington rail-car.
