MILK VENDORS’ BALL
Among the specially-invited guests at the eighth annual ball held by the Canterbury Milk Vendors’ Association recently at the Winter Garden were the chairman of the Christchurch Metropolitan Milk Board (Mr W. JCowles) and Mrs Cowles. Pot plants massed about the orchestra dais and flowers on the supper tables formed the decorations. The president of the association (Mr P. A. Caithness) and Mrs Caithness, assisted by the secretary (Mr L. M. Hall and Mrs Hall, welcomed about 330 guests.
