Boy Killed By Train At Level Crossing

(New Zealand Press Association) WANGANUI. June 6. A four-year-old boy died of injuries after being struck by a passing train on the Pitt street level crossing, Wanganui, this morning. He was: Dennis Peffers, son of Mr and Mrs W. N. Peffers, of 35 Halswell street. The locomotive crew said they Saw the child on the track, but could not stop the train in time.
