BULGANIN’S FUTURE
STOCKHOLM. June 6. Reports reaching Stockholm from Russia said that the former Soviet Premier, Marshal Bulganin, was about to be assigned a post in the provinces, in much the same fashion as Mr Malenkov and Mr Molotov were sent into exile, the British United Press reported.
It had been noted that Marshal Bulganin had not been present at public functions in Moscow for the last month or so. Marshal Bulganin was removed from the Premiership last March, presumably by the Soviet Prime Minister, Mr Khrushchev, and was given a position he had held before the war that of chairman of the Moscow State Bank.
