YOUNG READERS
ANDY IN DANGER by Freda M. Hurt (Nelson) is a continuation in the Windsor series, of rhe adventures of Andy, the type o f child heroine, peculiarly English who cannot keep out of trouble It is a stereotype in which grit, combined with foolhardiness leads to incidents—this time as a result of dares—which contain an element of danger and which usually are an embarrassment to 'he adults in the story. ■ But pluck is the thing and the heroine at last wins approval all round by her rescue of the captain’s dog The book is designed for 8 to 12 year olds.
