“HEAD OF A RHINO” is the name of this sculpture by Miss Alwen Hughes, of Maida Vale, London. She is arriving at the Royal Academy with her work on “sending in” day, and her dog, Puggy, is taking advantage of a ride. Sculptors from many parts of Britain arrived with their works, all of which go before a panel of judges for selection for the summer exhibition.
