Awards To Dunedin Air Cadet
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) CRANWELL (Lincolnshire), April 1. Senior Flight Cadet Peter Raymond Adamson, aged 21, of 18 Lynwood avenue, Maori Hill,
Dunedin, today received the Queen’s Own Medal and the Andy Gerrard Fellows Memorial Prize for highest marks in aeronautical science and engineering at a passing out parade. Besides his other awards Cadet Adamson also received the Royal New Zealand Air Force and Air Ministry prize for Commonwealth and war studies.
The Queen’s Own Medal is second only to the Sword of Honour award.
