ADDINGTON MARKET SOUND SALE FOR MOST STORE SHEET

Chatham Island Romneys were a feature of the yardings in the two-tooth ewe, older ewe and wether sections of the store sheep sale at Addington yesterday. An attractive class of stieep, they sold rea'dilv at good rates. The market for store lambs continued on a good note with values at least on a par and possibly slightly better than late rates. Romneys predominated in the two-tooth department with tlie best class Chathams sheep selling fully up to best late rates at from £5 to £5 Ils. Older ewes with a row of teeth met a rather belter sale. The yarding totalled 13.589 head compared with 19.2X5 last month and was made up of 5160 lambs. 1466 two-tooth ewes, 5712 older ewes and 1251 wethers.
