Metropolitan Fire Board Nomination
The Paparua County Council last evening decided to nominate Cr. R. J. Roberts when nominations are called for the Christchurch Metropolitan Fire Board, as the representative of the new districts included in the board’s area. The Riccarton Borough Council, and the Waimairi. Paparua, Heathcote and Halswell County Councils are the local authorities concerned with this appointment.
The council approved the proposed basis of voting of one vote for each £lOO of contribution to the board.
