TRACK TEAM FOR CARDIFF
Mr J. M. Dickie To Be Manager (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 2. Mr J. M. Dickie, of Auckland, was appointed manager of the track and field sectibn of the Empire Games team at a meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association last night. Mr Dickie, a chemist, is a former president of the Auckland centre and has been on the executive for 15 years. He was a member of the controlling committee for the 1950 Empire Games at Auckland. He has also had wide coaching experience.
