EXTRADITED FROM FIJI
Man To Appear In Court Today
After his arrest in Fiji last week, a Christchurch man, wanted by the New Zealand police, was brought by air to New Zealand and arrived in Christchurch last evening in the custody of Detective-Sergeant W. Hollinshead of the Christchurch C. 1.8. He will appear in the Magistrate's Court this morning. Detective-Sergeant Hollinshead flew to Fiji last Friday and applied for an order of extradition at Lautoka, where the man was being held under arrest. The order was granted and the man was delivered into his custody. They arrived at Auckland yesterday morning and flew on a N.A.C. flight to Christchurch in the late afternoon.
