Search For Hermit Continues
A party of armed police led by Sergeant J. Farquhar has so far failed to find any trace of the hermit who has been living in smoke-blackened caves on the Silver Peaks station, inland from Mosgiel. for the last two and a half years.
Mr H. I. Adams, of the Silver Peaks station, said last night that an intensified search by settlers and police would begin today. JUr Adams said that parties planned a thorough search and would leave the homestead at 3 a.m.
