SEDITION CHARGE AT BELIZE
(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) BELIZE (British Honduras), March 31. George Price, the leader of the Left Wing People's United Party (P.U.P), was today committed for trial at the Supreme Court on a charge of seditious intention. At a preliminary hearing he pleaded not guilty and reserved his defence. He was released on bail. Price was committed to the April session of the Supreme Court, which will open tomorrow. The charge against Price arose out of remarks he was alleged to have made about Queen Elizabeth during a speech at Belize. Fluoridation Delay.— -By six votes to five, the Gore Borough Council decided on Monday night to delay the introduction of fluoridation of water supplies for at least two years. There were 10 objections from citizens.—(P.A.)
