Harriers MARIST CLUB
Messrs F. Sharp and J. C. Daly were elected life members of the Marist Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club at its ninth annual meeting. Officers elected were:—patron. Bishop Joyce; spiritual director, the Rev. Father Ryan: president, Mr J. C. Daly; vice-presidents, rectors of St. Bede’s and Xavier College. Messrs C. Buckley. G. Currie, and F. Sharp; secretary. Mr A. Buckley: assistant secretary, Mr N. O’Sullivan; treasurer. Mr B. Slattery; committee. Miss Gunn. Messrs B. Buckley. J. Camcon, and B. Aitken; club captain. Mr P. Kelly; vice-cap-tain, Mr R. Ayrey; delegates to the centre, Messrs F. Sharp and J. C. Daly; selectors and handicappers. Messrs F. Sharp and P. Kelly: coaches, Messrs J. Cameron. E. Cameron, and J. C. Daly; log book, Mrs A. Harbot; results, Mr M. S. Shackel. The first run will be held on April 12 from the home of Mr and Mrs C. Buckley, 24 Ham road.
