RIFLE SHOOTING Christchurch Club
The Christchurch Rifle Club held its annual field day and presentation of prizes at Tai Tapu. I. Brown, who won the scratch aggregate, shot well in scoring 129 out of a possible 135. H. Wakefield took first place in the handicap aggregate. The prize winners were as follows:

Kingsbury 47, A. McLachlan 47. Match 3 (Seven shots at 600 yards off the rifle). —G. Crimp 33, I. Brown 33, A. Kingsbury 33, N. Davidson 32, J. Harper 31. Handicap: W. Vernail 35, H. Harries 35, G. Cromie 34. L. Harper 33, D. Nankwell 33. Aggregate Match (Scores in matches 1,2 and 3, off the rifle). — I. Brown 129, I. Ballanger 128, J. Harper 124, C. Tregoning 123, N. Davidson 122, D. F. The Cracroft Wilson Cup for the two day aggregate was won by L. Harper.
