MR J. M. ROBERTSON, assistant general manager of the Australia and New Zealand Bank, Ltd., who will retire on April 17, He joined the former Bank of Australasia, Sydney, In 1915, and received his first senior appointment as manager at Tuliamore, New South Wales, in 1924. After serving in several capacities in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, and New Zealand, he was appointed to the joint post of manager for Brisbane and inspector for Queensland in 1943. In 1947 he became a chief inspector in the general manager’s office, a position he held at the formation of the A.N.Z. Bank in 1951. He was appointed assistant general manager in 1955.
