Apartheid
Sir,—ls J. Hartley, the writer of the splendid letter supporting the splendid letter of Mr Rhoodie, the same J. Hartley who* has at various times spoken for the League of Empire Loyalists? If he is, will he say whether his views on apartheid, white supremacy, “mongrelisation,” etc., are the views of the league or of any substantial proportion of its members? It would be nice to know that the Empire Loyalists and the Afrikaners, in spite of their antagonistic views on Crown and Empire, have one loyality, shared in common, to act as a bond between them.—YOurfi, etc., JOOST WANTERKNOW. March 21, 1958.
