Three Records At Sports
Three records were broken at the Canterbury Agricultural College swimming sports at Lincoln recently. Conditions were ideal. In the junior 50 yards freestyle W M. Kain broke the record of 29sec by recording 28.6 sec. The junior 100 yards freestyle record, of 71 4-ssec, was also broken by Kain with 63.7 sec. D. M. Ellison broke the senior 50 yards backstroke record of 39 l-Bsec, by swimming the distance in 37 l-Bsec. D. M. Ellison won the senior championship and S. Cfiilds won the junior championship.
