350,000 Dollars Refused (N Z. Press Association —Copyright) SYDNEY, March 20. ‘‘There’s not enough money in the world to buy Tulloch from me.” the champion’s owner, Mr E. A. Haley, said today when asked about the 350.000 dollar American offer for the colt. "Tulloch is not for sale at any price, and that is definite.” The offer, the fourth in the last six months, came from a London bloodstock agent, Mr F. M. O’Ferrall, on behalf of Mr W. Clark, a Las Vegas hotel owner. Mr Haley said: “I consider the offer a great tribute to the colt but I wish people would stop making them. Tulloch is not on the market and never will be.” Last spring, the Victoria Racing Club vice-chairman, Mr E. A. Underwood, and a millionaire Sydney owner, Mr A. Basser. made a joint offer of £60,000 for the colt but it was refused. A few days later, £lOO.OOO was offered but again refused. A similar offer by the Anglo-Irish Agency was •Iso turned down.
