COMMERCIAL Quiet Market And Easy Prices

The Christchurch Stock Exchange was again quiet yesterday, though there was slightly; more business than on Wednesday. For the first time in several weeks, prices were all steady or easier. National Insurance eased 6d to change hands at* 28s. Other stocks to ease were Taupo Totara Timber, A.W.A., Southland Frozen Meat, Bonds Hosiery, Colonial Sugar and Woolworths.
