New Delhi Visit Ends

(Rec. 10 p.m.) NEW DELHI, March 20.

The Prime Minister of New Zealand (Mr Nash) was bidden farewell at the airport by the Indian Prime Minister (Mr Nehru) when he left for Bombay today after a two-day visit to New Delhi. Mr Nash was given a ceremonial farewell with a guard of honour of Army, Navy and Air Force. Mr Nash had several meetings with Mr Nehru during his stay. It is believed that they discussed the general international situation.

The two statesmen discussed the possibility of exchange of diplomatic missions. Apart from "getting the feel of India” in talks with Ministers and officials, Mr Nash also discussed New Zealand aid to India under the Colombo Plan and saw work on the Delhi Milk Colony and Medical Institute, with which New Zealand is associated. In Bombay, accompanied by Bombay’s Chief Minister (Mr Y. B. Chivan), Mr Nash visited a State-managed milk factory.

Churchill’s Health ROQUEBRUNE (Cap Martin), March 20. Sir ' Winston Churchill is very well, a member of his household said today. No decision has yet been taken on the date of his return to England, he said.
